What makes this region great?
Washington’s Coast contains a little of everything, white sand beaches, gorgeous sea stacks, temperate rain forest and mile after mile of trails. The small towns often get lost in all the nature, but communities like Seabrook and Westport are tossing a little Northwest ambiance into the breaking waves.
Whale and Pelagic Bird Watching
Westport offers the premier wildlife viewing in the state with truly epic discoveries such as albatross and migrating blue whales, among many species, a few miles off the coast.
Copalis Beach
Cohasett and Copalis Beaches are just two gems in a crown of amazing breaks for the surfing inclined.
Seabrook
Planned communities don’t often look like Seabrook, home to cottages, wide front porches, urban amenities and a bridge to an amazing beach.
Washington State Capitol
Home to Washington’s government offices, the state capitol was once not located in Olympia. Completed in 1928, the large domed building is the fifth tallest masonry dome in the world and the tallest in North America. It’s even withstood three major earthquakes.
La Push
You don’t have to be a “Twilight” fan to get the most out of a La Push visit, especially if you like casting off the nearby Umatilla Reef for all four salmon species and halibut!
Lake Quinault Lodge
Built in 1926 in the grand style of national park lodges, Lake Quinault Lodge provides a wilderness escape at the southern tip of Olympic National Park.
